Numismatic Clubs and Organizations

Coalition of Internet Numismatists Against Fraud (COINAF)

COINAF is a group of collectors and dealers who are dedicated to the advancement of education in numismatics. To accomplish this, we provide quality information concerning fraud, counterfeits, and offer education in numismatics to all. We assist local and national law enforcement agencies in protecting consumers who use the Internet for numismatic transactions from fraud.

American Numismatic Association

The ANA's mission statement is very simple. The American Numismatic Association encourages and educates people to study and collect money and related items. You can join the ANA here. Joining the ANA has many member benefits. They also have a pretty extensive club directory. Odds are you can find a club that suits your needs.

World Internet Numismatic Society (WINS)

WINS is intent on providing the education, guidance and assistance to our online club members, from the "newbie" to the seasoned "old timer". They wish to provide the hallways and doors of knowledge for you, the member, to open and experience with us. They will expend as much energy as is necessary to ensure numismatics is not a "relic" of our day, but a testament to the passion we have for our hobby, proudly passed on to our future generations. They shall be the "caretakers" of our history.

Early American Coppers (EAC)

Early American Coppers (EAC) is a not-for-profit numismatic specialty organization founded in 1967 to serve as a point of contact for collectors of early U.S. copper coins - Colonials, Half Cents, Large Cents, and Hard Time Tokens. Today EAC comprises over 1,200 members located throughout the United States. EAC members are deeply interested in the historical background, attribution, grading, rarity, and related aspects of the early coppers, as well as collecting and trading. Many EAC members are highly knowledgeable and prolific contributors to the numismatic literature of this country.

Combined Organizations of Numismatic Error Collectors of America (CONECA)

CONECA is the only international numismatic organization devoted to the study and education of numismatic errors and varieties. Benefits of membership include the award winning errorscope, a magazine type publication filled with articles, photographs, and research involving numismatic errors and varieties. With membership, you have access to many experts in the field, as well as a vast library of books, publications and other reference materials. Slide programs, complete with descriptions are available to members to share with other coin clubs. Our youth program is very supportive of young numismatists, and sponsors at least one youth member each year to the ANA seminar in Colorado Springs.
