I recently found a standard size penny showing the tails side. On the other side, it is hollow, having a silver lining. The edges are beveled, as a standard penny, the color and weight seems to be the same. However, I can't tell if a portion of the penny has "slipped out", or if this is some kind of fake. (if the penny were to be laying flat on the tails side, it could hold a couple drops of water in it.) I could email a photo, but can't seem to attach to this site. Any help?
Welcome!! It sounds like you found 1 side of a magician's coin. They make two headed coins that way. I would love to see a picture. Join a free hosting site like Photobucket.com. They automatically resize the pic for you.
