Hi,

I dont want to be too presumptuous, but I examined a box of bank rolled uncirculated 2012 Nickel and I spotted two anomalies that I believe are DDO varieties that I wanted to present for your input / examination.

The first variety has a heavy die wear on the "e" of the cursive LIBERTY on the obverse, and a cud (resultant from die chip perhaps) that is seen to almost close the "e" and make it almost look like an "o". On the reverse of the coin on the far left steps of the building is a heavy die chip to the right of the stairs. I found approx 4 of these.

The second variety only has the worn "e" and cud as described above but not "damage" to the stairs on the reverse of the coin.

All of the coins were brand spanking new from the mint, completely uncirculated.

I guess how "rare" and collectible these are is to be seen, just wanted to get your take on it.
Gentleman

They're die chips, not cuds. They're also not doubled dies. Generally small die chips like have no value.

These are not varieties - they are minor die chips that are a normal part of coin production. No premium value.
