This coin got my attention because it was struck at a US mint, and it's a one year type. Therefore, the date was on the hub and also doubled. There are several doubled dies for this single year of issue. They are common, and I can only guess the US mints weren't too concerned about the quality of these coins.
The doubling on the date is really dramatic:
