This is a little bit of an experiment as I've never sold through CCF. I assume this is how to post an auction but, if not, Mods feel free to modify/move the listing.

AUCTION

I found this circulated 2004-D Wisconsin State quarter with the extra leaf low error/variety recently:

The auction starts immediately and ends on Saturday April 15, 2017 at 12:00:00 AM EDT (Forum Time).

Bids should be posted here so other members are able to make worthwhile bids. Members can make unlimited bids.

The highest bid before the deadline wins and contact/payment info will be PMed. You must have at least 50 quality posts to bid. If not, your bid will be sucked into a black hole.

Bidding should be in $1 increments (or multiple $1s) therefore, the minimum starting bid is $1.

Payment: I only accept PayPal.

Shipping: Shipping will be through USPS First Class Package. Shipping cost will be determined by the winning bidder's location. Members outside of the U.S. are welcome to bid. If you'd like to look it up, it will be shipping from 75103.

I think that may cover it...Let's Go!

$20

Interesting quarter.
Life is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable because all you get back is another box of chocolates. So you're stuck with this undefinable whipped mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while there's a peanut butter cup or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast and the taste is... fleeting. So, you end up with nothing but broken bits filled with hardened jelly and teeth-shattering nuts. And if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you got left is an empty box filled with useless brown paper wrappers.

how does this work? does he pay $34 his highest bid, or 27? one bid more than the next highest bidder?

I'm going off of the actual bid posted. My reasoning is that since the bid is visible, unlike eBay, no one was going to bid between $26 and $34 after that was posted.

If I brought it down to $27 to beat the previous high bid then someone may saw they would have bid $28 or $30, just not $35. I hope that makes sense.

Attention

Ok, well, it's been nearly a week since the auction's end and I have heard nothing from the winner. I'm sure everyone understands that I can't wait forever on this. I've tried everything I can to contact morgans dad.

I'm creating a deadline of 12:00 AM (forum time) Monday April 24th for morgans dad to respond. This allows two full days more.

If nothing is received, the quarter will go to the next highest bidder, bandsdean, for his bid of $26. I see this as only fair.

Thanks everyone!
