We're almost 1/4 way through 2010 and still no word on designs for the America the Beautiful Quarters. They better hurry up or it's going to be a very long 11 years. ugh :-/

Please tell me it's not too late to cancel this hair-brained program. Anybody else think it would have been a better idea to put this on the 1 or 2 dollar bill?

I was thinking this same thing the other day. Here it is the middle of March and not even the design of the first quarter has appeared, much less minted. When this program was introduced I thought it wasn't a good idea to begin with.

Is it a law that they have to mint these American the Beautiful quarters or can they cancel the program now and give us regular issue 2010 P & D Washington Quarters?

Thank you AMF Cook! Those designs actually look quite beautiful. I'd be really excited for this series if we just hadn't finished an 11-year quarter series :-/. Although I hope not too much detail is lost between the pencil sketch and the finished product.

We will be giving away 40 BU pairs (P & D) of each one here on the forum as we get them from the Mint.
