There's a post in the US coins forum about coin rings, but I figured my question would be better suited in here. I searched through the archives and didn't find anything that I thought pertained to this question, but I apologize if this is something that's been brought up before.
I've made a coin ring out of a 1948 British Half Crown. I figured I'd practice on my first one that wasn't silver just in case I did a bad job. I did rather well though, and I want to make one out of silver now. Can anyone give me a listing of the silver content of British Half Crowns throughout the years? I don't think I'd be able to bring myself to do it to anything TOO old though. Thanks.
