You send me any coin you would like (not necessary if you have nothing to trade) and a SASE and I will send you a bright uncirculated 1978 Jefferson Nickel. I bought a roll from one of the members here and they are nice and shiny. Nothing special, no 5 steps or nothing like that. I have you covered wheezydog. Will be sending one your way in tomorrow's mail. Anybody else just drop me a PM and I will fix you up.
Am mainly doing this just to promote the hobby of collecting so if you have nothing to trade then don't worry about it. If you want an uncirculated 1978 nickel just PM me and send me an SASE (that's a "self addressed stamped envelope" for you young 'uns out there) and I will send you a nickel. Doesn't get any easier than that.

yotie, anything is fine. They can be scuffed and scarred lincolns somebody found on the street. Matter of fact, I am doing this to just kind of give back to the forum in the small way that I can so nobody really needs to send me anything but an SASE for one if that's all they want to do.

PM is a private message. Just click my name and below my avatar is a "Click to send a message" link. That allows me to receive an e-mail only from you and then I can give you my address in confidence. I still have over 30 something of these so the supply is still there.

My car broke down yesterday. It's going to cost approximately $1,000 to get it fixed. My company is putting us on 3 weeks furlough (that means UNPAID time off) between now and the end of the year. I work 40 miles away from the house and now my wife and I have to get up at 4:30 in order to get me to work with my daughter's car and she has to be back here in time to go to work. Like they say, "Life isn't fair" but we are determined and we will figure it out and make it. Despite the government making a mess out of our country.
Everybody who has requested a nickel will still get one and I promise I will get those out to you but it may not be until this Saturday before they go out in the mail. I apologize for any delays.
