I recently started buying gold, silver, and platinum bullion and since some came in coins I started gravitating to coin collecting. I have the state quaters gbu, quite a few lincoln's 1909 to present. I have 2 UHR St.G. ms70 ngc. proof sets, rolls of sacs, and have still managed to hang on to some of the bullion bars. I'm currently working on the 4 lincoln reverses both slabs and rolls. I just completed the 1986 to 2009 ASE ms69 set, and have some silver proofs and commems. I've only been collecting coins/metals for 3 years. I have some old buffalo nickles, but you can't make out the dates on quite a few. But I still like having them. Hope to add a 1 ounce gold buffalo soon but I'm saving for a proof and ms70 set. It's gonna be hard to try and keep up with the cost. Everytime I get close, the price goes up. Well hope to learn a little and share the beauty of coins and collecting. Dan.

to the forum! You will find a lot of friendly and knowledgeable people here. Sounds like you got a good collection started, especially with those NGC 70 UHR St G's ! Wow!
I got started the same way, looking at all the shiny coins when buying bullion. Walked out of the coin store with some BU Peach Dollars the dealer gave me a deal on, and never looked back!
Have fun, and don't be afraid to ask anything here, the experts are great and have patience!
