WD, I love the presentation of , IMO, one of the sweetest looking coins of days gone by.

I would ask you "why" you took the coins from the album, is it that you do not like albums, were you the person who put the album together, then decided to go with the naked look, lol, ????

I just admire the dedication people like your-self place in the hobby we all have a strong passion for, also thanks for sharing the eye-candy, be well, Mike....

THOSE ARE SOME NICE BENJAMIN'S WHEEZY !

My "well circulated" brethren Franklins are getting ready to follow suit. And I'm glad to see how you've done yours ! I like the "airtites" and the 2x2's with no ugly staples in the plastic Mylars ! That's a wonderful idea that I just may employ....instead of putting mine into a regular album for now. Still easy to "upgrade" em' too !

Morgans Dad, I think eaglefoot somewhat answered your question.
The toning at this point is arrested, the airtites will protect them better from any moisture or plastisizers and should I upgrade, it's just one thing to open at a time. Plus I myself like the way they display and store. I have become a fan of Airtites. I think every copper cent should be kept in them and nickels too.
Copper based coins are so susceptible to environmental problems. I feel this is the way to go.
Kept in a fireproof safe, they should also be safer from extreme heat.

I am (almost) finishing up on my Kennedy's and Peace Dollars, and the Ben's are next. I can only hope mine comes out as nice as that set! Great job!

Funny thing, I had a couple Kennedy sets but being one to have to have one of everything, I get frustrated with all the more recent special coins like the matte proof and mint set satin coins. I think I will just save the silver content coins I can find from Kennedy's.
I really like 1970 D Kennedy's and those before including SMS.
Kennedy's go so well next to the Franklin in design. I just don't feel like investing in doing another set just for the Kennedy halves. Lets just say this, Kennedy was no Ben Franklin either in my opinion but the design of the coin is exceptional.
