The " Far 2 " and " Near 2 " for the 5 cents 1932 is the same thing that " Far 6 " and " Near 6 " for the 5 cents 1926.

I think that the coin 5 cents 1932 " Far 2 " is not easy to find.

Last statistics for these varieties ( from three sites including numicanada ) :

5 cents 1932 Far 2 : 21/1789 = 1.17 %

5 cents 1932 Near 2 : 1768/1789 = 98.83 %

Your data will be welcome !

PS : Only three coins, 5 cents 1932 Far 2, were certified by CCCS.

One coin of the rare variety " 5 cents 1932 Far 2 " was sold, on eBay, 27/02/2012 : see the number 160 662 670 776 .

It seem to me that this coin was VG-10, no more.

Hi bpcrwelder,

See the following link :

http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...PIC_ID=77970

On page 22, see the post of castor, 02/24/2013 .

See the pictures of Near 2 and Far 2 in reference to the lines

On 5 cents 1932 Far 2, the 2 is far of the leaf, near 3 and also near rim.

I hope that this will be ok, following your question.

When you turn to right ( 45 degree ) your 5 cents 1932, you will see easily the range between the leaf and the number 2 : this range is about 40 % more wide for the 5 cents 1932 Far 2.

Good luck

Check your coins 5 cents 1932 one by one : with all the pictures and informations that you can find on all topic, you will see if you have one or two 5 cents 1932 Far 2.

If it is clear for nearly all members, on coincommunity.com, on canadiancoopercoins.com and on numicanada.com, why not for you ?
