1932 Near or Far nickel?

The " Far 2 " and " Near 2 " for the 5 cents 1932 is the same thing that " Far 6 " and " Near 6 " for the 5 cents 1926.

I think that the coin 5 cents 1932 " Far 2 " is not easy to find.

Last statistics for these varieties ( from three sites including numicanada ) :

5 cents 1932 Far 2 : 21/1789 = 1.17 %

5 cents 1932 Near 2 : 1768/1789 = 98.83 %

Your data will be welcome !

PS : Only three coins, 5 cents 1932 Far 2, were certified by CCCS.

I have a high 2 far s 1932 haven't found the other two.

With the new data, from Bm0ney and from numicanada.com, the new results are :

- 5 cents 1932 Far 2 : 21/1836 = 1.14 %

- 5 cents 1932 Near 2 : 1815/1836 = 98.86 %

The result today is :

21/1886 = 1.11 % for the rare variety, 5 cents 1932 Far 2 !

One coin of the rare variety " 5 cents 1932 Far 2 " was sold, on eBay, 27/02/2012 : see the number 160 662 670 776 .

It seem to me that this coin was VG-10, no more.

21/2001 = 1.05 % for the RARE variety : 5 cents 1932 Far 2 .
