Wow! They can be purchased for $129.95 from a dealer -- why pay anymore on eBay?! It pays to shop around!

doubt that the buyer followed through with payment. Likely a dud sale (there's a lot of those for items over $1000)

I too believe this will be a non-payer. I had a discussion on a forum a while ago about 'winning auctions'. The other guy was suggesting just put in $10,000 as your max bid then you would always win. I said - sounds good, but what if the next guy thinks the same way, and puts in 8 or $9,000.... you're screwed, you'll wind up paying $9,010 for what could be had - like in this case for about $100 elsewhere. However, that's not what happened here...the other guy kept bidding up... he could see the first guy's 'max bid' kept going higher...and in the end...guy #1 upped his max as well. Wow...can't say it enough. had to be a fool's auction!
Then again, I got 3 of those - WooooHooo $3000 and I'll sell them all tomorrow - any buyers? :)

just got the next issue of the Fab 15 coins....ive got a letter with it saying that only 600 sets have been issued so I expect this set will go up in price...especially the other coins with the privy mark that are comming....oh if you missed the 2011 set, there is a 2012 set available now, mintage 10k, but I dont think they'll sell that many...just have to look at the 2011 one, 5K mintage but only 600 are buying the hole set....good for me...

This year is square capsules as well, even though the first maple came in a round capsule. Maybe they have too many square capsule boxes from 2011?

The maples come in round capsules so I would assume all the coins in the collection would be the same as well? Kind of odd to have a mix of round and square capsules.  |

Yeah odd alright. I got the second coin and it is in square capsule. I figure they will eventually have to send out empty square capsule to everyone. Sent out the info card for the Philharmoniker as well. This subscription is really messed up.

the RCM usually are better than this for service and products....too bad, ill give an email to them telling them, that many collectors aren't satisfied....

I'm looking for both a 2011 F15 and a 2008 F12 as well. The last ones I need to complete my privy mark set. Haven't had any luck with my usual dealers or eBay so if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.
