1865 2 Cent: (Note the cool dies cracks on the date on the obverse and on the right side of the reverse!)

Great Additions Moe

I'm a sucker for the Silver 3cent series,and who wouldn't love those extensive die cracks on the 2 cent! I give it a thumbs up

I LOVE the 3 Cent Silver Series. The Coin is so small, but significant! It has a nice design on it and I just have a thing for Trimes. I also like Barber Quarters+Halves and a variety of other Coins. Good Job on the 7070 Moe.

That two cent piece has a lot of character on its own, but it will have good company in the 7070!

The last 7070 gold coin arrived today:

1908 St Gaudens (no Motto)

1841 Seated Liberty Dollar (to take the place of the counterfeit 1846 previously in there!)

7070 complete!

That is a BEAUTIFUL No motto Saint Gaudens Moe! I have an 08 no motto too, yours is definitely nicer. I'd guess MS-63 due to the hits on the obverse devices, but it has better than 63 eye appeal imo with great luster and a warm color. Congrats!

Are you going to expand your gold set, or leave it as is?

Very exciting Moe! I know you like purchasing your coins raw, but PLEASE buy your $3 gold certified. The $3 gold is THE most highly counterfeited US gold, and I lost well over $500 by inadvertantly purchasing a fake one several years ago.

Your collection is really growing!

Man Moe,I'm gettin the fever too!I could start one,but when I put the coins I have in there,I'm afraid the empty holes will scare the crap outta me!

(Actually that is GREAT advice, particularly from someone who's been there! Thank you, my friend!)

Raw coins are usually cheaper, but when you factor in the loss due to even one counterfeit (Moe's getting angry!) it often doesn't pay.
