UK 50 Pence Commemorative Hunting

Today, first day of the new month. I got £50.00 in 50p's & the 1st bag had 2 commems. The next 3 bags had nothing, complete skunk. Last bag had 17 commems, 7 of which were 2011 Olympic Games. wow!!!
Either somebody is dumping collections or there is someboby in the bank with too much time on their hands & is sorting through the stock and picking them out.
Either way I don't mind as long as I'm getting them in the end.

I went back to the same bank & got the rest of the bags that they had, only 4 bag but they were as I suspected... NOTHING, complete skunk.
Anyway I don't mind that 'cos I got a lot yesterday & I'm getting £250 from another bank tomorrow, so we'll see what that gives up.

Yippee! , it's Monday & the banks are open.
Somebody has been busy dumping again. I got £50 today and out of the 5 bags , 1 bag had nothing , 3 of the other 4 bags had a total of 19 commemoratives (5 Olympic Games) and in the other bag ... WOW ... 20 commemoratives including another 5 Olympic Games. Some of the coins look as if they have just come out of the mint. I'll take a few pictures & then I can upgrade them into my collection.

Merv - well done on the Pride and the Platinum Jubilee, still not had either of those myself yet.

2 milestones passed this last month. It's the first time that I have managed to check through £2000 of 50p's
in one month & I have also checked more in the passed 4 months than I did in the previous 12.
I will now start to calculate the amounts checked on a calender year basis.

I was robbed... In one of the bags there was £9.50 & a Mauritius 1 Rupee instead of the other 50p. The 1 Rupee is less than 2 pence at the current exchange rate. Worst of all it wasn't even a hole filler...
