I went through your mega box posting, Arby, holy cow! Amazing! And your lifetime finds are over 8,000 silver halves? Incredible, that's a Nolan Ryan career in half dollar roll hunting! Funny, I was just thinking that I have not found a magic coin, they seem to turn up judging by the YouTube boxes. I have found Walkers & Bens, (4) 76-S Silvers, a clad commemorative, at least (15) 87P/D's, dozens of proof clads, several neat foreign coins, one 1964 silver proof, at least (20) gold plated. Still trying to find a Barber, 70-D 40% silver, 1998 Matte, classic silver commemorative, and a modern silver proof.

14 boxes two weeks ago or so, a nice Walker, one 90% Kennedy, (4) 40% silvers, an '87 NIFC, and (5) clad proofs, 4 are super nice, one is pretty beat up. Note that one of the clad proofs is a 2021! Someone didn't like their Christmas gift, I guess.

10 boxes last week, some good finds, (3) NICE Bens, (2) '64 90%, (7) 40% including a '76S bicentennial, and a counter stamped gold plated. STILL looking for a 70-D but this is the 4th 76-S Silver Bicentennial I've found.

Call me a heretic but I kinda like the Franklin half a little more than the Walking Liberty. Don't get me wrong, they're both great designs, but there's something about the Franklin half that makes it appealing to me.

Considering your avatar, I would not expect you to say anything to the contrary. And for what it is worth, I have a complete Franklin half dollar set and only one Walking Liberty (in the 7070).

I really like Franklins, too! Most of the Walkers are heavily worn, some of the Franklins come nice AU-BU and are brilliant or have nice toning.

Hey GSR, just keep doing what you are doing and those coins will find their way to you. I pulled several Barbers and no Seated Liberties. I just cracked 1 box this evening and Skunked. I will pick up a half dollar box once in a while. Since Wells Fargo shut me down on quarters maybe I will just use them for halves. By the way your numbers are looking great!
