At coin show this morning sellers were asking get this...$31 x face. I didn't buy just moved on. Last table I hit fella was a dealer from KC metro area he had 90% halfs mostly JFK's $20.00 x face we cleaned each other out literally. Sure some guys pop off about $17 $18 x face and that's great for them but where I'm at in N.E. KS good original 90% junk is tough to find under $23.50 and at that price heck I just use APMEX. Cash is king glad I had $1,300.00 cash on me this morning got a gob of half's, quarters and smattering of dimes. 10 ounce bars were getting old that all Ive been buying since premiums went nuts, felt good buying a nice little bag full of original XF-AU junk.

LCS has been at 20x face for dimes and quarters and 21x face for halves. They are nice enough to let you cherry pick out of their selection. Still a high premium (pretty much equal to what they charge for 1-oz rounds/bars), but I am still buying a little here and there.

Buying at 16x, selling at 20x. Had a big buy and it just flew out the door, according to the proprietors.

I would have bought them all as well.

My LCS charged 20 X face last week on dimes and quarters, but if you pick and choose then the price went up to 21 X face.
I wonder if this is the norm at most coin shops ?

My LCS is 21.94 for dimes, quarters, 22.11 for halves. I like 90% but not at these prices. It may go even higher this year.

My LCS lets me pick, but another guy there over the weekend made the owner bring out each container separately and only bought around $0.60 face. Shop owner clearly was not happy.

Silver Eagle Coins and Collectibles is the best LCS in my area. You can spend hours looking through their junk silver trays, prices are always reasonable.
