The "Issue Institute of the States of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam" ("Institut d'Émission des États du Cambodge, du Laos et du Vietnam") issued in 1952 a 10 Piastre banknote:


The woman is Nang Sangduane Soulivong, the second wife of the designer, the French-Lao artist Marc Leguay. She appears also on coin and stamps of the Kingdom of Laos. In year 1962, the Kingdom of Laos issued a 10 Kip banknote, using the same Lao woman design:

Those "Piastre" notes can be very tough & expensive. More great examples (thanks for sharing)!

One from Uruguay - I assume the designer wasn't colour blind having tried to colour the whole note in!

That's some beautiful colouring in that last note. I don't think I've seen oranges used like that before. Thanks for sharing these.

Indeed, the coloring is very beautiful and unusual, but the real note is little less darker than my scan. I can't always control the scanner and get exactly the real color of item I scanning. Fortunately, it happens rarely and in most cases I can get closer color to the real color.
I think this banknote color is closer to the real color (although little bright):
