As part of doing the 20th Century Type set, I saw that a Proof LWC had crazy points (over 2000 in PF 68), so for $39, I upgraded a business LWC and got a proof and moved up to 65.

Congrats! I also like that 24. Looks like it has some nice toning that wasn't apparent in the sellers pics you sent me.

We'll I sucked it up and paid more than what I wanted for 1 of the 4 missing coins, it's on layaway as it's more than my budget allows me to spend. Coming in at least 4 weeks :(

Ok, but hopefully the eye appeal will make you VERY happy once it arrives!

Steve That's the issue, the last 4 coins are expensive and for what I consider reasonable just aren't that visually appealing. Yes they look better than a detailed coin but $800 for an F12/15 classic head isn't appealing. At least with Seated Liberty dollars for $500 you can get VF 30 with some better details. It's a goal to finish the 7070, but it maybe longer term. I can get a qtr ounce of gold in MS69 for $500 and that is a visually appealing coin, heck a proof ASE is more visually appealing than a $500 seated liberty.

True, but even a Fine Classic Head can have real nice eye appeal for the grade. Make sure it's problem-free, with mostly even color throughout, with nothing drawing one's eyes to a "distraction".
