Though a background design element, trees serve an important role in the overall "pristine nature" design aesthetic of Canada's 1985 commemorative silver dollar that celebrated the centennial of the establishment of Canada's first National Park - Banff in Alberta - in 1885.

The design on the coin's commemorative reverse depicts a moose wading in the shallow waters of a lake (foreground) with a group of trees lining the lake's opposite shore along with towering mountains (background).

I particularly like the attention to detail shown by Montreal artist Karel Rohlicek, who not only included a line of trees at the lake's edge, but also presented their reflection in the water.
