Aloha and good morning, As many know, I collect coins tied to the year of '82... 1982, 1882, 1782, etc. I also love little varieties and am a total sucker for die clashes. Existing somewhere out there is a 1982 nickel CUD + Die Clash. I have several other nickel die clashes and of the 1982 clashes across the denominations the nickel has been my favorite. But the CUD + Clash has long alluded me for well over a decade. The last one I saw for sale was around the time I was getting married and it wasn't in the budget. Well Fred Weinberg decided to retire and he sold some of his collection via Heritage. I haven't bought anything at Heritage in about 4 years because the bidding has become too strong and the premiums climbing to 20% have become too much IMO. But this dream set popped up recently, Mr. Weinberg's die progression set with the CUD, CUD + Clash, and CUD + Clash + Double Strike. I did a thing, blew the budget, told regrets to take a hike, and my package arrived yesterday. My heart is full, life is more complete, and I can die happier. Enjoy! - Numisnerd over and out. My hoard of '82s is up to 241! 218 BC x 1, 118 BC x 3, 18 BC x 1, 82 x 1, 182 x 1, 282 x 2, 382 x 1, 582 x 2, 682 x 1, 782 x 2, 882 x 1, 982 x 4, 1082 x 1 1182 x 8, 1282 x 2, 1382 x 1, 1482 x 6, 1582 x 13, 1682 x 17, 1782 x 60, 1882 x 68, 1982 x 45

This is a really nice set of nickels. Congrats on getting them. And another congrats on getting rid of that awful, reoccurring "Why oh why didn't I get that set of coins?!" that would have plagued you forever! Sometimes we just have to allow our selves the fun we can have.
