Ebay Having Issues With Sales Tax On Coins Again.

There is no sales tax on coins and bullion in PA.

They get it corrected for a while then they must put a change in and screw it up again.

It started by just charging sales tax on shipping. Now they are charging sales tax on price plus shipping.

Two of the recent reps I've spoken with have actually suggested I fill out a sales tax exemption form with eBay. I suspect that's not even legal.

You're lucky to be able to get through to reps. They still owe me 400 dollars from over three months ago.

I'm getting extremely ticked off with this tax ordeal. It makes a deal when you find one, not as much of a deal. Anybody know of another source for buyers with fair pricing that is not APMEX or sdbullion, more of an auction type place? All I've ever dealt with is those 3

Is it possible the seller listed the coin(s) in a taxable category?

No, the coins are in the correct category.

eBay refunds the money after a week or two but it's a pain to keep calling. I'm still waiting for a refund on a couple.
