Anyone have the Cliff notes version for this lol? This might be blasphemy in saying this or maybe just my ADD talking but I'm not sure I have the attention span for a coin collecting video that is almost as long as a Lord of the Rings movie.

On the subject, if you look at the U'S. Mint's website all of the silver commemoratives are unavailable (not necessarily sold out, simply that they have none to sell) and the ASE have become the same a few times. Most people quickly associate this to a silver shortage, which was brought up upon learning that no Peace or Morgan dollars would be issued this year. In reality the issue stems from the supplier, in this case Sunshine Mint of Coeur D'Alene, ID. Every ASE blank is produced here and shipped to the mint, and according to their press release demand far exceeds their capacity of production. Add in that they also produce silver (and gold) blanks for various other world mints as well as their own bullion product line. Until they address an employee shortage issue this will continue. Why the U.S. Mint doesn't return to in house production in times such as this makes little sense where the profit margin based on spot applies.

Cliff notes: Its audience is mostly for novice Morgan and Peace dollar collectors and points out (mostly obvious) differences between coins with the same TPG grades and why same grades may command significantly different prices.

Two middle aged broskies talking for almost 2:30 about silver dollars.

Next time that my wife calls me a Numisnerd, I'm going to have to let her know that I have nothing on these two to A) have the 2:24 conversation and B) post the video in its entirety for other to likewise nerd out to.

I'm shocked. I'm amazed. I'm kinda proud. 2:24 videos about silver dollars.

Thanks for the summaries! I agree that the dedication and amount of knowledge is impressive to be able to post a video that long.
