Someone stole that one if it was an 1840 large over small date, au58 retails around 2 grand in a straight holder and this isn't a real common variety. Nice find, I have one I purchased a couple years ago that slabbed au58 at PCGS. The business strikes for this variety were also minted from the same dies as the proof in 1840. Not sure what it would bring if it details, can't tell enough about the surfaces in your photos to make a clear judgment in my opinion. It does need some Verdi Care to stop the corrosion though.
