This is my first foray into medieval India. Thoughts? Thanks!

India: Western Gangas. Gajapati Pagoda, ND (Circa 1080-1138AD). Fr-288. 3.90 grams. Medieval India. Elephant standing right. Reverse; Floral scroll. Well struck with a scrape on the elephants head.

Interesting and impressive coin. Almost looks like some Celtic AV staters.

According to this site it says Mitchiner #702. Coin referenced looks very similar.
https://coins.lakdiva.org/medievali...goda_au.html

Numista also has it as Mitch #702

These are references from a similar offered coin:
Ganesh & Girijapathy, Karnataka -;
cf. Mitchiner, South I 192-3;
cf. MNI 702 (both refs for type);
Adams IV 79.
