So I was looking at the different errors coins can have and I remembered about this weird coin that's been sitting in my cup of little random treasures. I guess it's supposed to be a nickel and it weighs 5.034 g. It's a bit scuffed on one side so I'm thinking its intentional damage but what do you guys think?

Looks like an electrical box punch out to me, not even a coin.

I agree, this is a electric box punch out, not a blank Planchet.

Yes a knockout rather than a product of the mint. It should be strongly attracted to a magnet.

the burr on the edge is where it was connected to the electrical box. It is a knock out.
