My parents showed me this today. They found it in the house they purchased. All I can see from searches is that other coins for the investiture have the Prince of Wales on the coin / medal in a standard postage stamp type pose but this has a fellow in his military (Royal Navy) uniform facing to front. The reverse is rather different with two dragons instead of Caernarfon Castle which is on the ones I've found online to date.
It also has a pretty big spelling mistake in Gorphenaf on the back - it should be Gorffenaf, Welsh for Gorffen Haf - 'End of Summer' or the month of July.
I've searched but not seen one like it. Keen to know if anyone can help?
@von, first welcome to CCF. Second, since your pics are a little fuzzy, I'm having trouble reading the fine print on this medal. It looks to me like there are a couple words under the swooshes on which the dragons are standing. Can you please tell us what they say? Thx.

A Google search of the spelling "Gorphenaf" reveals it to be a typical spelling of that word from the 1800s. It is also spelled that way on the "official" investiture medal, so it seems that was the normal spelling at least in 1911: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/ex...a200863.html
The problem with British unofficial medals is, there's so darned many of them, I don't think anybody's ever tried to assemble a comprehensive catalogue or listing of them. They'd have been made and sold privately - or perhaps given away to schoolchildren in a certain town.
