Here's a bit of ephemera for the Lincoln Cent fans...a promotional brochure (circa 2010) for Paul Hollis Rare Coins that showcases the then-new reverse design of the Lincoln Cent. It's a four-panel, full color piece measuring 5" x 7" (W x H). It's a nicely-printed piece with process color and a glossy finish (likley lacquered vs. just glossy stock).

The brochure was given away - along with a new 2010 Lincoln Cent - in 2010 to promote Hollis' coin business.

Mr. Hollis has apparently moved away from numismatics - at least as a full-time occupation - as he has been a Representative in the Louisiana House of Representatives since 2012 - he was elected in 2011. His coin web site is now a one-page political site with no mention of coins. Mr. Hollis represents LA District 104 (Saint Tammany Parish).

Quite unique for sure. I would buy something like this to simply frame and hang on the wall, something akin to the old small club music act fliers. Thanks for sharing!

That's an outstanding piece of ephemera commems - if I were a fan of the Lincoln series I would certainly desire to have one in my collection.

Before he gave up coins completely Mr. Hollis did manage to publish his book American Numismatist.

It's available in hardcover on Amazon for $29.93. At 180 pages it is stated to cover:

An Epic History of the United States and the Coins that were Struck Along the Way

Interesting that a dealer so knowledgable about coins that he was able to publish a book would apparently completely disassociate from the market so quickly as he did.

edit for spllgening

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. I starting coin collecting with Lincolns, but haven't been a huge fan of the Shield design.
