yes I find all my coins from circulation. is it worth anything because I was reading about the 1983 quarters that are sought after right now.

I dont think that collectors are clamoring to get them. I agree that it is worth maybe $3-4 retail but its better than a quarter and a 3-400% profit which is better than a sharp stick in the eye.

Good test - take it to your local coin shop and see if they'll offer more than 25 cents for it. Bet not.
