$1 1899 Silver Certificate Serial Number Length

jdavis18 Valued Member United States 495 Posts	Posted 01/29/2023 1:48 pm I've barely stepped my toe into notes, but I did notice that the length of serial numbers for $1 1899 silver certificates seems to vary. Is there a premium for shorter serial number over longer? For instance, would D25268A be worth more than a longer serial number? Thank you in advance for the extra knowledge!
