Agreed. Start with S & B.

If they do not get back in touch with you, contact eBay/PAYPAL and the post office.

Yes, it will be quite interesting to find out who Stacks was selling this for and the trail backward, just may go to your original buyer....hmmm?

I would imagine that you are still the legitimate owner of this item since the sale did not go through and you provided a full refund.

I assume that you have also retained the paper trail regarding your sale, the claim and subsequent sale reversal and refund as they may be necessary to assert your ownership.

Did you file a police report or a report with the post office reporting the theft that included the slab number? The refund from eBay is probably not enough proof. If you don't have reports it's going to be difficult to prove that the coin was stolen and that it still belongs to you.

I have had contact with Stacks Bower and send them the information to prove ownership and fraud. They are going to get back to me soon. Nothing from USPS.

Excellent.

By chance, have they divulged the entity that placed the cent with them for auction?

By chance, they could be the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc owner since the coin was stolen from you.

I wouldn't expect them to divulge the identity of the seller so quickly or easily.
