The coin dealer at my LCS gave this to me free when I bought some coins last Saturday. It's my first squashed Kennedy half-dollar! It was squashed by Dix Noonan Webb, now known as Noonans, the coin auctioneers based in London. I also have a pre-decimal British penny smashed by DNW. As the penny and half-dollar are roughly the same size, I imagine they were pressed between the same dies...

How about a bump on this one. Pressed at the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio. They had 12 different penny designs at the time. Don't know if they have rotated anything out or added. Was last there to see the Memphis Belle, after they redid it. Rolled on a 44 wheatie.

The style suggests this is rather an older one. but unfortunately neither side betrays the slightest clue as to what the host coin might've been.

The reverse pics don't show much. I'll know more when in hand. The middle one should be an Indian cent and the other two, Lincoln cents.

This was sold on ebay earlier in the month. The host coin is an 1885 Morgan.
