Yesterday I received an email saying my medal has shipped! Tracking is active but still in pre-shipment. I also realized there was a silver lining to the delay: I placed the order in 2020 so I received free shipping under the loyalty program, but because the order did not ship until 2021 it counts as a qualifying purchase for this year's loyalty program. So I only have two more orders to reach free shipping for 2021!

Fantastic! Speaking of the loyalty program... For the third or fourth year in a row I got an errant "Welcome to our Loyalty Program" email followed by a "Loyalty Program Update" retraction twelve hours later.

USPS is in possession of my package! Like everything I expect it'll be late, but considering I've had packages stuck in weeks of "pre-shipment", I'd say this is a good start!

You know how slow those dot gov site in updating their email and web securities setting, and they seem to repeat the same error yearly.

I was hopeful that my medal would arrive by the end of this week, but then today it decided to backtrack to a previous distribution facility. It appears the Christmas backlog has yet to be cleared.

My medal arrived safe and sound this weekend, and I'm thrilled! It's a beautiful design, the reverse proof finish looks really sharp, and the OGP is the perfect finishing touch. All in all, definitely worth the wait. I'm glad I decided to pull the trigger and add this to my collection.

Finally got my reverse proof eagle back (at least the image, not the coin) from NGC. This was the first coin I sent away since the 90's. Took too long and cost too much. At least I got a RP-70. I think this is a fantastic design. Would fit in perfectly with the classic commemoratives.

My silver Mayflower coin and medal set and the reverse proof silver medal finally made its arrival to me in the UK from my brother in Florida.
