Where the light reflects on the slab, you can clearly see scratches on the plastic, so assuming some of what appears to be on the coin, is probably on the slab.
Splitting the difference on the scratches between the slab and what may be on the coin, ill say AU 50
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I'm guessing AU 50 with wear on the high points, cheek marks and chatter in the fields.

XF-45. A nice Dahlonega Half Eagle.

I'll say AU-50 and agree possibly details.

I'd put it at XF-40 (pending: is Denver known for strong strikes?)

Not a type that I know well ... but ... I can't see an AU grade on this one. I think XF45 would be generous.

Agreed, I'm feeling like an EF-40 on this one. Very nice non the less.

Beautiful coin, seems like a very conservative grade. I would have guessed AU-50. Maybe they found traces of cleaning and net-graded a little.
