Entry text is bigger for me for both Quick and Full Reply, but still showing in Consolas, which I prefer.

Quote: Well I'm guessing that a user added browser preference overrides the site's CSS. Hmm. It should only if the "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" box is unchecked, but mine is still checked (default setting).

Getting weird unfamiliar (and this time not even monospace!) fonts again, though still not in this thread... No idea what's happening this time.

Bobby updated the CSS so that is using the Arial font family for text entry. You may need to clear your cache to get the updated CSS to work for this page or any other previously loaded pages.

Same font as the rest of the site. Just a little larger to aid in adding tags and smilies.

That explains why my font is larger. Thought it was something I had done, at least I now know the reason.

Sad; I'd miss the old monospace font. I thought it was a good match for the text-only area (even the smileys are represented by text). Was a lot less dense as well, which was nice; the old reply window didn't feel as much like a wall of text, as such. And I think a lot less text fits in the new window, but of course I can't compare. [EDIT: found an old-style reply window in an old tab and compared. The new one is a bit narrower and noticeably higher, but the larger font size means it fits exactly as many lines. It's hard to tell which fits more text, because the letter widths vary. The density is definitely not my imagination, though.] Would there be a way, like in the settings or something, to go back to the old monospace? Preferably an account-wide way that would transfer across devices/browsers.

Firefox will let you override the site's font settings, but that is global and will affect all sites you visit, not just CCF.
