Quote: Is that a palm print on the obverse? I saw that on the photo too - cannot see it on coin in hand - I need to look at it in better light.

Does look like a print of some sort.

I hope that this bullion piece is not as dark as the pictures suggest.

Quote: I hope that this bullion piece is not as dark as the pictures suggest. oh it is, but just on the obverse. at the top is some nice blue coloring also. as for the 'print' on the obverse, not quite sure what it is, certainly not a finger print 9no swirls and is far too long) Maybe a palm print, but looking at my palm - there are too many intersecting creases to have anything that long. In the sunlight, I can barely see them with out magnification just a series of long curving lines.

The CORRECT answer should be no, I don't handle my coins improperly, so it's impossible it's my palm. Because of this, I find you guilty

I appeal your judgment, your Honor, as new evidence has just become available: Exhibit 1: Used and unused White cotton gloves. Therefore, the marks cannot be mine

Nice toning going on. And to think I was alone seeing that thumb print.

Quote: And to think I was alone seeing that thumb print. Not sure it is a thumb print - theory has it that it may be a palm print. (There are no swirls and loops commonly seen from finger/thumb prints) Just a long series of arcs...
