I see a common zinc Philly mint large date coin.

I've never seen a die crack in that shape - curious on that.
Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

First off it is a large date. Copper should weigh 3.1 grams and copper plated zinc 2.5 grams +/- .12 grams mint tolerance. I see pits on the reverse of your coin, so I am inclined to say it is a copper plated zinc core cent. The die crack on the reverse lower right steps is kinda common and have seen and spent many.

Just found mine listed on eBay.
It is a 1983 P. 2.5 grams. Zinc.
It has exact retained interior lamination and die crack and another die crack on left bottom of Memorial to rim. eBay item 374538683716.

I'm in South Florida bugil this one has the interior too!I think there is another one of the 4th column from the right side as well as the other end of the memorial a spot or two though not very big!

It's a inside die break. 82 is not listed, but there is an 83 that is just like it. IDB-1c-1983-03R on http://cuds-on-coins.com/
