I have a 1c piece in excellent condition and it's date reads 196 it has the 1953-1964 effigy on the reverse. The last digit was not struck on the coin, has anyone ever seen something like this, and would this have a premium?

It could be a filled die, where grease/dirt fills a letter and prevents the coin metal from forming that numeral. I haven't seen these on Canadian cents, but they're pretty common on US pennies.

There is no listing, or mention of "plugged dies" in the Book. It would seem to be "just another cent, worth the value stated on the coin
