If you purchased directly from the mint then you have a puck with P mint mark. When they are graded they are classified as SP. The bullion versions with no mint mark and are not vapor blasted can be considered proof like ( PL ) or deep mirror proof like ( DMPL ). You need to check the guide for ATB pucks with a P mint mark with a SP grading.

Bret, Thank you. Yes, my coins have the "P" mint mark.
So I purchased a Collector version that now sells like a Bullion coin ,and the Bullion coins now sell like a collector coin.
Sorta sums up my collecting experience.

Just saw that the 2020 P-ATB will now cost $178.25, up from $154.95. Quite outrageous price increase imho.

Holy smokes; outrageous indeed. That's a 15% hike. The last time these pucks went for more than $175 was in 2013 when they were $230. Spot was around $30/oz (and was about to crash).

Thank goodness there are only 6 issues left. If these continue to go up throughout the year I may wait and buy them on the secondary market.

$178.25 for the new mint issued ATBs is crazy money. Why the big hike?

I haven't bought any of these from the mint - all of my P mint purchases have come from ebay for a pretty good savings. I'll take my chances and buy these in the future off of ebay.

On another subject, ebay is now hitting me with a sales tax on these ATBs. My state doesn't charge sales taxes on coins or bullion items. I told this to ebay, and didn't get any where with them. Any suggestions on how to get ebay to stop charging the sales tax on these ATBs? I know I'm not the only collector affected by this - from what I've seen online, 37 states don't charge sales taxes on coins or bullion. So there's a lot of people out there now getting screwed over on sales taxes from ebay.

I recently sold my 2019 S ASE ERP on eBay and when I sent the buyer the invoice it included $160+ sales tax. A day latter the buyer sent me payment and PayPal indicated that there was no sales tax collected. I presume the buyer has a resale license and used that to get eBay to not collect the sales tax.

Unless you're a business, that sales tax isn't legally due anyway. Georgia just passed a law to force companies like eBay, Amazon, etc. to pay all of the sales tax that they've been collecting from Georgia residents because they have not been sending in 100% of what they've been collecting.

US Mint sales figures have finally been updated today.

The 2019 P-ATBs have dismal sales figures, esp. compared to prior years:
lowell 14934
american memorial 14162
war in the pacific 15211
san antonio missions 14429
frank church river of no return 13034

Lowell has been available for almost a year now and is still under 15k. Chronic ATB fatigue?

These figures could mean though that the US Mint may mint fewer than in previous years. We could have another low this year.

What kind of business raises prices when sales go down? A monopoly does.

Got my P-American Samoa yesterday (sorry, no pics possible right now, but it looks a little flat) and already pre-ordered the corresponding bullion.
FIVE to go now. I'll be glad once this series is over and it'll probably mark the end of my relationship with the US Mint.
