I stumbled upon this online database by Oxford's Ashmolean Museum. "The current Roman Provincial Coinage Online project is confined to the Antonine period (AD 138--192)"

Something fun to check out is the "iconographic search" by animals, architecture, deities/personifications, heroes/famous persons, etc.
