That is interesting. What caught my eye was the reverse looks to be a ring and insert, like a normal toonie, but the obverse looks like a normal token. Can you expand on this a bit please. What do you see in hand? Thanks.

im afraid I dont know anything about this piece other than from that website that was listed. I really liked the design with the same bears as on the toonie.
i saw the date as 1994-2002. the toonies came out in 1996. could it be the first time that the bear design was used by the mint? or are there other tokens that use this design before this one?
