I dumped some change at a TD Bank machine after work today among my finds were 10 silver dimes (1951, 1952d, 1953, 1959, 1960d x2, 1961d, and 1964 x2) in the reject slot. I needed the 1951 and 1961d for my found in circulation silver roosevelt set (i now have 29 of the 48 coins in the business strike set). I also found three silver quarters ( a 1964, a 1960d, and a 1942) about $1.20 in canadian money and some other assorted junk foriegn base metal coins. The biggest silver find I've had in months lol Wow. I've never come close to that great a find. Stuck together 2000 dime and 1993 nickel last night. Kind of messy as they were stuck together with ink. Very active two weeks.

Slightly off-topic but similar sort of thing - I was in Montreux in Switzerland and got on a city bus. On these buses you get on at the back and buy your ticket from a machine. The woman who got on ahead of me was having problems with one 50c coin that kept coming back down the slot. I offered her another coin in exchange - she took it and got her ticket. When I looked at the coin she'd given me, it was a 1959 silver one!

Went to two stores with Coinstars today. One had a 2011 Canadian dime and one had a 2001 Canadian cent. Oh Canada.

I strongly suspect that the person cleaning out the Coinstar at my local store has returned from vacation, but I did get a nice looking 1940 wheaty this week.
From about mid July to last week I was finding coins, I was also seeing debris left on the flat surface of the machine. That has been totally clean this week.

Yesterday, I found a 1982 Canadian quarter in local coinstar machine. I guess it didn't pass acceptance. Not sure what to do with it. This is the highest denomination I have found so far.

2007 Canadian Penny on the floor next to the machine yesterday and a rusted 1943 cent in the reject tray the day before.

Ran by the store and checked the Coinstar, which yielded a 1975 .50 centavos Mexican coin. My foreign tour continues.
