Late last week 7 1967 Canadian dimes. Nice addition to the silver box. This was in BC and the counter rejected them, so they were just sitting there waiting for me to do my coin dump.

My first CoinStar reject bin finds! 51 cents and a CR 2032 battery. Haven't checked to see if the battery has any charge
Inordinately fascinated by bits of metal with strange markings and figures

I would not recommend it but if it works that would be something. Nice pocket change.

I learned long ago that it's a not a good idea to have a battery in your pocket with a bunch of change. Just not good at all.

While you should certainly avoid carrying exposed button batteries in your pockets, a 9V battery can be deadly! Also, never put 9V in the trash without taping over the terminals.

I'm mainly familiar with those batteries because they're the ones used in computers to keep the clock accurate in the BIOS.

True! It has been a long, long since I had to replace one of those. Probably because we have been leasing new Dell systems every five years, long before the battery would die. When I got a low battery warning recently, I hoped the sensor used a CR2025 like my key fobs (which I keep on hand). But no, it was a CR2032 (same diameter, but thicker). Yeah, I tried a 2025, but it would not make contact. Had to run to the store. But I digress... this is about coins, not batteries!

Fun stuff ironhorse! Here is my recent haul from three days ago from the store where I work (been a busy person recently) In face value including Canadian: $4.24 from two different dumps No silver or wheat cents or many other finds except for a 2014 South Africa 10 cents, and two vacuum tokens...
