So.... Is it the complete wedding proof set that is commanding the price, or are collectors just after the silver loonie. Personally I'm only after the silver loonie and could care less about the set as a whole.

I have been following these coins as I collect the loonie. The proof silver loonie in the 2007 wedding set only came in that set. It was not included in any other sets. In fact all the other sets had different proof silver loonies.
If I were buying them I would therefore buy the set if there is not much premium.
It gets interesting for the 2008 and 2006 silver proof loonies. The same types were produced in different sets. I am sure there are many collectors who are paying ridiculously high prices for single loonies based on the limited quantities of specific sets. There are over 8000 - 2008 silver proof loonies from different sets that are the same. However the wedding set itself from 2008 was of very small quantity.
