Hmmm. The Liberty Seated Coin Collectors club made a few trial versions of their medal in copper ( 3 or 4 ) to be shown as prototypes around the country.
It was because of this that I decided to join the group to be able to order these medals, which are just lovely.
Perhaps copper was the way to go initially for the CCF medal. So I pm'ed for ordering details.
It is a very nice design.
Brother, can you spare a "BARBER" dime?

Richard, I was surprised to find your instructions in my junk box. I almost missed it. Others might miss/have missed it too.

Are you making overstrikes an option for different metals? It could be feasible for a soft metal like silver - perhaps the person could prep the planchet themselves and send it over - if you charge the same price, it would actually save you the couple of dollars the copper planchet would cost. I dont know how the die would fare but with a softer metal it couldnt hurt. Would make some cool variation in the series.

I am not minting the tokens they are being done by a third party and part of the quote is that they provide the blanks. The only thing I am having made separately are the dies so that CCF maintain possession of them after the minting run.

Nohope - Thank you for the reply, I hope I do not miss the June deadline due to my lack of postings on this site. I really enjoy "studying" in the background and seldom have anything to say. Oh well, so be it, if I miss the pre-order deadline, hopefully "full badge" members will enjoy the token.

Marc D you have a month to get to Valued Member status. A good opportunity to ask all those questions you have been saving up for the forum. A series of small icons will be visible at the top of all my posts after the posted time. the second one should look like an envelope with a sheet of paper behind it this is the pm button.
