I'm guessing that this might be considered a Good. It has definitely seen a lot of circulation.

I would give it a Net AG3. I would say you could get $200-$225 for it. I saw another AG3 on a dealer site for $175 recently, but yours is a little better if I recall.

AG-3 sounds about right. Its heavily circulated, but a great addition to any collection.

From what I've read, these grade differently because the dies were so worn to start. I'm guessing the best way to grade it is to compare to the same coin....is that correct? Should I send this one to PCGS with my SVBD?

A comparison is not such a bad idea. Sending it in to be graded is strictly up to you. I prefer a raw coin over a slabbed one.

That is a 1922 no-D weak reverse, the #2 no-D coin after the strong reverse. These are notoriously tough to grade unless you are familiar with them(I am not). I was looking at weak reverses in the Heritage archives for comparison and yours is probably VG.

You could send it in. That never hurts. I have owned 1922 Pl. Die 2 twice in my life. The first was a G4 raw, in a little better shape than that one and the other was a VF slabbed.

But different dies might be graded differently. I gave my opinion on what I used to own.
