Another more colorful check from the Muegee Drug Company dated 3 years earlier than my earlier post. Interesting to note he was a member of Woodmen of the World or perhaps his company was a corporate member.

Found this super check lying about on eBay. Never seen one with such great vignettes; and the French Legion of Honor is a first for me.

Interesting. Is the bank name on the window in the vignette? Perhaps the early bank was destroyed by fire or they moved?

techwriter, you sure have some interesting checks.

I don't normally collect checks, but finding Idaho depression scrip seems to be next to impossible, so, I found this nice looking Wallace National bank check example.
