I hunted down a Buffalo ender in my search yesterday... The Philadelphia native is dateless for now, but I should find him a date in a day or two thanks to the magic "pickling" effects of vinegar...

Very inspiring. I just opened a $25 penny box tonight. I spend time looking for varieties and errors worth keeping. Do others bother with that, too?

Stay well,

So, as I surmised on the main CRH nickel thread, that Buffalo ender indeed was a 1925.

On Friday, I found another ender - my first "solo" dime ender of the year... technically my 10th dime ender of the year if you count the 9 full rolls of silver dimes I found earlier in the year...

1948-D... love free silver!

Had three enders amongst 25 CWR of nickels I bought from one of my local banks this morning...

Was pleasantly surprised that the 46 and 54 were both not the common mint for said years...
