I love Museums and coins, so I was wondering if there are any museums that focus in Ancient Coins/Artifacts? Or at least some that have a large collection of them. I'm especially interested in ones in the San Francisco Bay area. Thanks guys!

You need to visit the famous museums in the World to fully appreciate the scope of ancient coins.
The Hermitage, the Bibliotheque National, the Hunterian, the British Museum, or the Ashmolean.

If I was living in California, I would visit the view days of major ancient coin auctions. At least, you may be able to get 'up and close' to some valuable ancient coins.

I don't recall if the Legion of Honor in San Francisco had a lot of coins, but I remember it being an excellent museum that you should definitely check out. The Getty Villa in LA has an excellent ancient art collection with some coins. The best coin collection I've seen was at the Boston MFA, where they have an actual ancient coin display room with many excellent examples of many excellent Greek and Roman coins.
