Fantastic coins pepactonius! They look nice and original. I'm sure everyone on this thread knows that finding them that way without breaking the budget isn't an easy task.

Picked up this 1824 Capped Dime at the LCS earlier this month. They had 3 dimes--this one, an 1830 and an 1836.

jpbone, that is a nice example of an 1824 quarter. Those are scarce in any grade.

Thanks -- I think it was easier back a few decades ago, before coins got so expensive. Nowadays, I'd never buy coins like this raw, although it's not clear how much protection slabs give anymore (with all the fake slabs).
