Good catch, Calzone!! Now, here's a question to the group, why do the silver76-s, 86 Statue, and other 40% silvers non 64 - 70 ALL look 90%? They look 90% silver ++++ ? Did the mint plate those planchets in silver, too?

Got these on Friday. Teller had 15 rolls for me. 11 of the rolls were in the common wrappers we see all the time. I opened them first nothing. Sometimes you have a felling I thought these would be very good rolls. First one all 64s, second roll all 64s, last 2 rolls mix of Benny's more 64s and the rest were 40%. All totaled 51 1964s,5 Ben's and 14 40%. I thought they would be good not that good.

Out of state today, took son to get his new teeth. had time to kill
so went looking for banks to request half dollar rolls. First bank did not have any
rolls but had $3.00 in loose halves. Lucky me, I see a 1967, and a 2009.
Keepers, they were. Spent the other $2.00 on a Mega lotto ticket.
There were 2 other banks, no halves. Still 1 out of 6, I will take it.

8 boxes, (1) Ben, (3) 1964, (10) 40% including a beautiful 76-S silver uncirculated, and a horrible 2007-S proof, worn and badly toned, only realized it was a proof when I inspected further in the event that it was a toned 40% and noticed it was a 2007-S. Also found an 87-P NIFC and a 1972 that had been gold plated but the gold was wearing off.

I think I'm going to change my tactic from sifting through 8 boxes, rerolling for hours, finding dump banks, etc. to stopping by banks and asking for customer rolled halves! Seriously, nice haul Cabowabo!!I stopped by about 10 banks a couple months ago and only got 4 or 5 rolls from one bank that had been searched and re-rolled in the same shotgun wrappers. I probably need a bigger bank route, maybe.
